Our Commitment to Design

Wolfdene challenges the traditional approach to property development; if there is a chance to innovate, we take it. We interrogate every opportunity a site has to get to the best design and focus on how we can best serve the people who will live there.

Placemaking

The layout and design of Wolfdene’s neighbourhoods respond to the natural features of our sites. We use this as a starting point to guide the creation of the optimal living environment.

We aim for a mix of interconnected streets, diversity of housing, parks, and recreational and commercial centres.

When we approach a new site, we let the natural landscape inform where and what the heart should be, whether it's a swimming pool, a park or a watercourse. We focus on the low-tech infrastructure like cycling paths that connect to the wider network and making our neighbourhoods walkable so you don’t have to get in your car every time you need to nip off to the shops or pick up some milk and bread.

Architecture

Wolfdene is setting the standard for medium density in the urban growth areas. Recoginsing the important role these homes play in contributing to the urban environment, we focus on using contemporary materials and exterior and interior design that not only looks great, but functions well. Elements such as articulated roofs, timber highlights, lock up garages, private outdoor space, open plan living areas and well appointed kitchens and bathrooms work together to form the DNA of Wolfdene’s architecture.

Wolfdene Townhouse Designs

AVA

The two-storey floorplans for AVA offer open plan living and dining, secluded outdoor courtyards, large master bedrooms with an ensuite, lock up garages and undercover parking. Architecturally, AVA features distinctive gabled rooflines, textural brickwork and natural cedar timber highlights, and a selection of two or three bedrooms.

Inside, AVA has stone bench tops, European appliances, well-appointed bathrooms, a feature timber staircase and come with a Six Star Energy Rating. AVA is the ultimate in low maintenance living for singles, couples or small families

AVA II

AVA II draws inspiration from the instantly recognisable rooflines and facades of the original AVA but evolves its floorplan. The layout of AVA II maximises solar performance in an east-west orientation and maintains a Six Star Energy Rating.

Within AVA II, Wolfdene offers large double and single bedrooms. It also features a lock up garage with direct access to a private rear courtyard, providing added security and functionality to the design.

NOVA

NOVA’s light filled second storey open plan living and dining area opens onto a private terrace with elevated views. Designed with the floorplan options for either two or three bedrooms, NOVA takes full advantage of direct access to Saratoga’s main park.

The exterior uses warm natural timbers, textured brickwork and generous glazing to bring the outside in. Black tapware, a full-sized bath, separate storage and subway tiles enhance the bathroom to add a modern feel. NOVA has a Six Star Energy Rating.

CODA

Maintaining a connection to the Wolfdene style, the rooflines of CODA provide a sense of scale from street level and utilise similar materials and colour palette to AVA. CODA also accompanies NOVA in taking full advantage of north facing courtyards, adding in adjoining open-plan living and dining, and keeping up the Six Star Energy Rating.

The interior features stone bench tops, glass splash backs, quality appliances and heating and cooling throughout while CODA’s second floor includes generous bedrooms, your choice of either two or three, and two bathrooms.

NINA

Meeting the market demand for low maintenance, architectural four-bedroom living options, NINA is designed with even more flexibility to the use of interior spaces while still offering a Six Star Energy Rating.

A spacious downstairs living area includes a modern kitchen, timber flooring, a powder room and a seamless connection to a private courtyard and double lock up garage at the rear of the home.

NINA also provides the choice of a fourth bedroom downstairs, a home office conversion or a second living area.
